Around 53 crore people use WhatsApp in India.
Starting today, billions
of you will be able to use WhatsApp on your web browser. the web client is

browser to your WhatsApp client, just open https://web.whatsapp.com in your
Google Chrome browser. You will see a QR code --- go to WhatsApp and scan that
code and your WhatsApp will open in the web browser. Now you have paired
WhatsApp on your phone with the WhatsApp web client.

encryption to keep your private moments safe.

alternative to SMS. the product now supports sending and receiving a variety of
media: text, photos, videos, documents and location, as well as voice calls.
Some of your most private moments are shared with WhatsApp, which is why we
built end-to-end encryption into the app.
There are mainly four
types of WhatsApp: WhatsApp Business App: Geared towards small and medium-sized
businesses, it offers features such as business profiles, product catalogues,
